What happens after you reach out
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Your request | Call (470) 847-9076 or send the form |
| 2. Phone conversation | Goals, timing and budget range |
| 3. In-home visit | Measurements and existing conditions |
| 4. Written estimate | Line-item scope, allowances, permits and schedule |
How to prepare
- Photos of ideas you like.
- A rough budget range and timing.
- What bothers you about the current space.
- HOA guidelines, if your neighborhood has them.
What to include in your request
A few details help us prepare for the first conversation: the rooms you want to change, what bothers you about them now, a rough budget range, when you would like the work done and whether your neighborhood has an HOA. Photos of the current space and of designs you like are also helpful. None of this is required to get started; a phone call is enough.
What your written estimate covers
| Section | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Scope of work | Each task described room by room |
| Labor and materials | Priced separately so you can compare |
| Allowances | Budgets for items you have not chosen yet |
| Permits and inspections | Which permits apply and who pulls them |
| Schedule | Major phases and expected duration |
| Payments | Milestone-based payment schedule |
Common questions before you call
Is the estimate free?
Yes. The in-home visit and the written, line-item estimate are free.
Which areas do you serve?
Milton, including Crabapple, Birmingham Crossroads and Deerfield, plus Alpharetta, Roswell, Johns Creek and Cumming.
How should I compare estimates?
Compare the scope line by line, check that allowances are realistic and confirm what is excluded. Our guide on how remodeling estimates work explains what to look for.
After your estimate
Once you have the written estimate, take your time to review it. We are happy to walk through any line item, adjust the scope to fit your budget or price alternate materials side by side. When you are ready, we confirm selections, schedule permits and set a start date. Nothing is ordered and no work begins until you approve the final scope in writing.
If you are comparing several contractors, ask each one for the same level of detail so the numbers are truly comparable: the same rooms, the same finish level and the same allowances. A lower price that leaves out demolition, permits or cleanup is not a lower price in the end.
